AUTOBAHN

One of Resolution's products is Autobahn™, a platform independent network API. It is used to connect a number of computers over the Internet (or a LAN) and deliver data between these computers. Autobahn™ is developed to meet the demands that Clusterball™, X-Team Racing™, Sprint Madness™, Righteous Battles™, and many other games places on a network API. Autobahn™ has an edge others don't have in these areas: Cross-continental interaction, Low-bandwidth and its Cross-platform abilities.

Autobahn™ can be used by several users simultaneously with different types of connections, such as modems, ISDN or broadband connections. Autobahn™ is also designed to efficiently transfer data even with very low connection speeds. This means that games or other applications that use Autobahn™ can use simple modem connections instead of broadband connections without reducing the quality of the experience for broadband users.

Autobahn™ can be further extended with customer databases, web ranking, viewer servers, automatic tournaments, dynamic advertisement and more, which completes a range of services that meet the highest standard possible in today's gaming.

Autobahn™ is aimed at game development, research, industrial simulation, and virtual reality (for example virtual meeting places, such as electronic shopping malls.) Autobahn™ can also be used for simple client/server solutions, for instance chatting. By using Autobahn™, developers can shorten the time it takes to develop data communication products.
